So you wanna be an Internet Marketer? Part I

So you wanna be an Internet Marketer?

Do you want to be able to drive Ferrari’s, live in big houses on the ocean, and be able to travel across the world? Who doesn’t.

Well one of the first things that you MUST DO in order to 1) be successful, 2) not get scammed, is to know what to look for.

I am sure that if you search around through Google, Yahoo!, or Bing, you have come across sites that have pop up’s, ads, or are an advertisement site itself that you have come across internet marketers at work.

One of the more prominent things that I have noticed over the past few months is IM’s making ‘fake’ websites that look like legit online newspapers. This is a psychological mind play that allows them to sell a product that does nothing. You must be able to spot a scam from far away.

How to spot a Scam?

First off, here is a list of things to look for, and we will get into further details later in this series.

  1. Outrageous Claims
  2. Fake, or implausible jobs(posting links on Google, reading emails, looking at websites)
  3. In order to pay for it, you MUST use your Credit Card number. Don’t trust these, if they don’t use paypal, or the like, be very wary when signing up for it.
  4. Website try’s to copy another(newspaper, video site)
  5. Website is cheap looking, unprofessional(now these can be legit, but can also be scams)
  6. Over done(way to professional, flashy, and many claims, again these can be legit, but more than likely be scams.).
  7. Statistics over everything trying to look legit(Google Images: Clickbank Stats and you will find thousands of images that are legit. If I can find them, so can scammers, and they will use them to their advantage).

Now this will be covered in more detail later in the series, but lets first get off on what you will need in order to be a successful marketer.

What you need?

Now you can have all of these, or just one, it doesn’t matter, it will only map out how successful you will be.

1) Domain
···Do you know what a domain is? It’s a website. Now this might be unchartered territory, but I will help you out with setting up your first website(blog, reviews site, ecommerce)

2) Affiliate Programs
···Now there are many of these. You can pick any of the programs below, but know that some are harder to get into than others.
3)Traffic
···I will go over how to get free traffic, and then PPC or PPM for those who have money.

I will give you a sneak peak at what you can get started on until Wednesday. Join the Warrior Forum, and sign up for an account over at ClickBank(I will go over this in more detail in the next post).

To your success,
Tyler Perroux
